Who We Are

SimplifySC is a supply chain process automation and consultancy business based in the Netherlands. We help organisations streamline and automate their supply chain operations and align them with their strategic goals, such as efficiency improvements and cost savings. SimplifySC is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 99829568.

This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit simplifysc.com or get in touch with us, why we process it, and what your rights are. SimplifySC is responsible (the “controller”) for this data.

What We Collect

  • When you request a strategy call: your name, company, work email, the process you describe, your preferred time, and, if you choose to keep them, your quiz or calculator results.
  • When you work with us or email us: the information you share in that correspondence and during the project.
  • When you visit the website: technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is processed by our hosting provider to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Why We Use It

  • To arrange and hold your strategy call and answer your questions, at your request before any agreement (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To deliver our services to clients under an agreement (Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep the website secure and working, and to see in aggregate how it is used (our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f)).
  • To meet legal obligations, such as keeping financial records (Article 6(1)(c)).

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Service Providers We Use

We share personal data only with the providers that run parts of our service, and only for that purpose:

  • Cloudflare: hosting, delivery and security of this website, and privacy-friendly visitor statistics.
  • Hostinger: the server that runs our booking form (built with n8n).
  • Google (Gmail): sending your confirmation email and our email correspondence.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer is protected by safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies & Browser Storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

  • Security cookies: Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies, such as cf_clearance after a security check, to protect the site against abuse.
  • Visitor statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
  • Browser storage: the automation quiz and the savings calculator save your answers in your browser’s local storage so you can pick up where you left off. This stays on your device; you can clear it in your browser settings.
  • Booking form pre-fill: when you open the contact page, your quiz or calculator results are added to the booking form’s web address so the form can be pre-filled. This means they reach our form server when the page loads. You can edit or clear that field before you submit.

How Long We Keep It

  • Call requests that do not lead to a project: only as long as needed to arrange and follow up on your request, then deleted.
  • Client data: for the duration of the engagement, and financial records for as long as Dutch law requires (seven years).
  • Technical and security logs: according to our providers’ standard retention periods.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Contact us at any time to exercise these rights; we respond within one month.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
